    I am a Sphinx LEADer (Leaders in Excellence, Arts & Diversity) for Black and Latinx Arts Administrators, participating in the 2-year leadership program designed to evolve the industry landscape by empowering the next generation of executive leaders. Through this curriculum of mentorship, networking, and leadership retreats at top institutions nationwide, I am traveling around the U.S. learning first hand the greatest successes and biggest challenges facing the arts administrative field.

  • OPERA America

    I am an alumni of OPERA America (OA) 2022-2023 Mentorship Program for Opera Leaders of Color (OLOC) where I sharpened my leadership specialties under respected IDEA Arts Leader, Rebekha Diaz, with Pittsburgh Opera. I was invited to serve on the Steering Committee planning the LGBTQIA+ Network launch. I presented at the 2023 OA Marketing Forum on ‘Social Media Metrics: Priorities & Measurement’ alongside Capacity Interactive, for the 2023 OA Conference, on ‘Managing the Political Dynamics of Art’ and ‘Meet the Mentorship Program for OLOC,’ and the 2024 OA Conference on ‘Marketing Departments and LGBTQIA+ Centered Productions.’

  • McMurry University Alumni Board

    I hold my B.A. in English with an Arts Administration concentration from McMurry University (2015), where I led multiple organizations on campus. Through my leadership coordinating regional alumni volunteering in Albuquerque, NM for an annual day of service, I earned appointment to the Alumni Board of Directors in 2020. I served a term as the Engagement Committee Chair and just accepted another three year term on the Fundraising Committee.

Entertainment Strategic Marketing

  • The Dallas Opera

    I defined the role of Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager with The Dallas Opera, serving two seasons and strategically planning two years of content through 2023. I supported the launch of thedallasopera.TV and re-structuring top internationally ranked operatic digital programming initative, TDO Network, to support updated organizational goals; increasing website conversions from social media by more than 2000%; recruiting a cross-departmental team to strategize and plan content; creating a social media campaign for equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives; and assisting with the launch of the overwhelmingly successful Under 45’s group, Crescendo, for audience development.

  • New Mexico United

    I was instrumental in launching the premier year of New Mexico United (NMU) in the United Soccer League (USL) Championship. My writing is featured on the highest-performing page in USL History to date and in blogs consistently among the USL's top five most visited monthly pages during my tenure. I ran incredibly successful marketing campaigns through Facebook, Google, and MailChimp building a community of 25,000+ and oversaw the Local Artist Series retail line that contributed to NMU’s astonishing 3 Million Dollar merchandise line and box-office-breaking ticket sales, leading the league in 2019 attendance.

  • Santa Fe Opera

    I edited and copywrote, giving design direction for all publications; from the annual 160+ page 2017 Season Program Book and the Grammy Award Winning The Revolution of Steve Jobs Hybrid CD Booklet, to the Crescendo seasonal magazines, print ads, eBlasts, and subscription mailings. I oversaw photoshoots and Insta-meets, conducting venue tours before performances and during the off-season, including a Ford photoshoot with Travel + Leisure Magazine.

Non-Profit Strategic Marketing

  • Homewise Inc.

    I grew Homewise Inc.’s already large Facebook presence by almost 5% withinin the first year. I presented at ‘Facebook Community Boost’ in Santa Fe on growing audience and optimitizing online advertising. I was integral in creating and launching the company’s fifth website in their 30-year history, optimizing webpage copy for SEO and better site navigation. I further authored the Social Media Optimization & Content Strategy for two consecutive fiscal years.

  • Santa Fe Community Foundation

    I wrote grants for Opportunity Santa Fe’s Birth2Career Success Collaborative including an executive summary for the Santa Fe Mayor’s Cabinet which made it to the final round at the United States Conference of Mayors with only five other cities in the country. I assisted in the creation and launch of campaigns and websites for multiple working groups, one of which even recieved commendations in an article from The New Mexican. I managed social media platforms for multiple initiatives, growing followers by almost 700% before my AmeriCorps VISTA service was over on Facebook and Twitter, improving the page’s ROI and reaction time.

  • Opera Canada Board

    I serve on the Board of Directors at Opera Canada, the oldest, continuously published arts periodical in Canada since 1960. I am also a member of the Digital Strategy and Fundraising Committees (2023), strategizing with a relatively new membership how to reimagine the magazine’s digital offerings as well as increase corporate and private contributions.
